What are the benefits of a DKV fuel card?
With a fuel card from DKV Mobility, you can refuel without cash and across all brands as well as pay for other services. It also makes bookkeeping easier for any commercial business. Because the fuel card eliminates the need to collect and process fuel invoices. You receive a "tax consultant-ready" invoice that you can simply pass on.
When is a fuel card worthwhile?
Even with just one vehicle, you benefit from the advantages of our fuel card. A fuel card is therefore worthwhile from just one vehicle.
Who can order a fuel card?
Any trader can apply for a fuel card.
How is a fuel card invoiced?
With DKV Mobility, for example, you receive a invoice every two weeks that lists all transactions by license plate number or driver. This invoice amount is then debited by us via SEPA mandate. This gives you additional liquidity. In your private login area, you can view all transactions at any time and manage your cards.
At which fuel station can I pay with the DKV Card?
DKV Mobility offers you the largest supply network in the industry with around 67,000 filling stations and around 687,000 publicly accessible charging points across Europe. This includes branded filling stations such as Shell, Aral and Total, as well as low-cost and independent filling stations. Acceptance is normally indicated at the fuel pump or via a DKV sign at the filling station. If you are looking for a specific filling station, you can do this in our station finder or in our DKV Mobility App.
Why is there a difference between the price displayed at the filling station and the price on my invoice?
When refueling with a DKV fuel card at Aral and Shell stations, it can happen that the gross price basis is a relatively high list price that does not correspond to the price displayed at the filling station. If you use the displayed prices as a guide, there may be differences on the final invoice. For the greatest possible transparency, the list prices are available at all times in your DKV Mobility customer area and in our DKV Mobility App. In addition, the list price filling stations only make up a small part of our overall network in Germany. At all other filling stations, billing is based on pump prices, i.e. the gross purchase price corresponds to the price displayed on the price pole at the respective filling station at the time of refueling. You can also use the DKV Mobility app or your DKV Mobility customer area to find out whether a filling station has a list price. The price information for the individual filling station always shows when this information was last updated. If it says 0:00h, this is a list price that applies for the entire day at this filling station. If it shows a different time (e.g. 15:36h), then the price at this filling station will also change during the course of the day. Our recommendation: In order to always fill up as cheaply as possible, it is worth taking a look at the DKV Mobility App. There you can easily select the cheapest fuel station in the area.
Who is liable for card theft?
As soon as we receive your theft report, you are released from liability in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions. We will then block your card immediately. Furthermore, the card cannot be used without knowing the PIN.
How does a fuel card work?
After refueling, go to the cash desk at the filling station and present your fuel card. Then enter the current mileage and your personal PIN. The PIN is unique for each card and can be determined by yourself or generated by the system. You use it to authorize the transaction and can then resume your journey. The advantage: you do not have to keep any fuel bills. As an option, you can also use APP&GO, our contactless payment function, at many petrol stations via the DKV Mobility App.
Can I limit my fuel card?
Yes, you can limit or block all cards in your personal customer area. Of course, you can also do this via our 24-hour hotline +49 800 358 3583.
How secure is a fuel card?
Each card has a PIN that you can set individually. In the event of loss or misuse, you can have the card blocked immediately either online via the customer login or via our hotline. You can also add a separate limit to each card.
Are fuel cards also interesting for small businesses?
Fuel cards are also interesting for small businesses and the selfemployed. With just one vehicle, you can benefit from many advantages, such as cashless payment for refueling, washing or repairs. Our Just Drive Card, for example, is designed as a fuel card for small companies with up to five vehicles on the road in Germany.

Can I also charge electric vehicles with the fuel card?
For electric vehicles, we offer fuel cards with the "+Charge" option. This allows you to charge your electric vehicle at around 687,000 publicly accessible charging points.
What other services can I use with the fuel card?
You can use your fuel card to pay for all vehicle-related services, such as fuel, tolls, repairs and parking fees. You can find more information on the scope of services under the corresponding products.

How do I know that my order has been processed?
After placing your order in the webshop, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
How can master data be changed?
You can edit your master data in your personal customer area.
When will I receive my card after ordering?
On average, it takes 10 days for your fuel card to arrive.
How does the company search work?
You will be asked for your company details during the order process. To make it as easy as possible for you to enter this information, we fill in many fields automatically. Simply type in the name of your company and select your company from the search suggestions. If you cannot find your company, you can enter it manually.

Other questions

Is there a minimum contract term or a minimum turnover?
Of course, you have no minimum turnover with us and can cancel at any time. Full flexibility and no risk for you.
Are there any additional costs apart from the card fee?
DKV charges a service fee depending on the service. You can find an overview here.
How does the desired filling station work?
  1. Open our DKV Map
  2. Search for your desired filling station.
  3. Copy the DKV number of the station.
  4. Paste the copied DKV number into the field provided in the shopping cart.

When processing your order, we will save the station you entered as your preferred filling station. You will then automatically benefit from savings when filling up at your preferred filling station.

What else do I need to know about my DKV fuel card?
  • Your card is ready for immediate use.
  • The expiration date is indicated on the card.
  • You will receive the corresponding PIN separately by post (except for repeat orders with a fleet PIN).
  • Keep your PIN protected from access! For data protection reasons, we do not have access to your PIN.
  • When authorizing by PIN, you will also be asked to enter your mileage. If you do not want to do this, you can enter a "0" instead. Please note that you will not be able to create consumption reports via our DKV eREPORTING if you do not enter this information.
